We will discuss your unique needs and design a ceremony to suit. The following gives you a starting point for thinking about the type of ceremony you are looking for.
Simple Celebrations
A simple pre-scripted ceremony of up to 10 minutes long
One poem, reading, song or similar
For weddings, simple, traditional vows that I can provide if you wish
This ceremony type starts at $250.
Customised Celebrations
Beautifully crafted ceremonies ranging in length from 20 minutes to 1 hour
Fully customised around you, your family, or loved one
Personal anecdotes, stories and special moments
Two to five poems, readings, songs, or similar
Ceremony rehearsals can be included
For weddings, customised vows, written by you with guidance from me, and vow coaching if you want it
This ceremony type has a range starting at $550, up to $1,500, depending on what you want and where the ceremony will be.
Funerals, Internments and Memorials
Authentically crafted personal farewells or remembrances for your loved one
Fully customised and generally ranging in length from 30 minutes to 1 hour
Guidance on the use of rituals, as well as personal anecdotes, stories, poems, music, readings and eulogies
These services start at $550.
MC and Facilitation Services
Let’s talk, as this package will depend on what you would like me to do, and for how long. This service starts at $300.
THE PROCESS
1. Connect
Once I have confirmed availability, the first step is to meet. This is a no obligation meeting so that we can get to know each other. We can meet in person or online. At this first meeting we talk about your story, or your loved one, and any initial ideas you might have for the ceremony.
I can guide you through what a typical ceremony structure looks like and leave you with actions you will need to take. For weddings, I can guide you through your legal requirements.
2. Design
If you choose to work with me, through deeper conversations, I’ll learn more about who you are, or who your loved one was, and what you want for your ceremony.
I will take all that I learn and design a draft ceremony. We will discuss and adjust the draft ceremony as many times as we need to, so that it’s exactly what you want.
I can go through your ceremony script from start to finish with you, either informally or at a formal rehearsal.
For funerals and internments, the design process will be adjusted to fit with the tighter turnaround times.
3. Deliver
On the day of the ceremony, I arrive early to meet and greet guests and to set up as needed. It will all be in hand and you will be able to focus on the purpose of your day.
If legal documentation is required (for marriages), I will take care of all of this after the ceremony for you.
